Her full name is Tamera Darvette Mowry. She was born to Darlene and Timothy Mowry in West Germany (Gelnhausen) on July 6, 1978. Tamera Mowry parents both served in the US army from around 1975 until the birth of their twin daughters when Darlene had to juggle both responsibilities. Eventually, she and Tim retired from active duty.
Tamera’s parents were high school sweethearts in Miami, Florida, who later coincidentally worked in the same profession and rose to sergeant ranks together. At the time of Tamera and her identical twin’s birth, the couple lived in Germany, where they got stationed to serve.
